Screening applicants is not hard.

Once I started posting in my advertisements that tenants must pass a criminal background screening, the quantity of applicants went down but the quality went up.

Did you make an actual application?

My current company found no crimes on a recent applicant, and doesn't search for crimes with any previous names.

I'm about to put in my application for a Texas real estate salesperson license.
