Hey @Kris Kempe - The easiest way is to partner up with another Chicago wholesaler who has their license or get your license yourself.Getting your license yourself is smart no matter what, but if you wanted an intro to some of the bigger players here in the city I'd be happy to make an intro for you.What city in Illinois are you in?

I have a friend, pro poker player - he sits at the table with high stakes and STILL cant HODL Bitcoin.

There are only a few players out here in the US, but most claim this process is 3x faster than traditional home building and 40% reduction in construction costs. 

@Anneliese Kvashay you need to consult with two major players in the area (in no particular order) - James Wangelin (https://www.biggerpockets.com/...) but he's not active on BP forum, and @Matthew Irish-Jones (https://www.biggerpockets.com/..). 

Most of the modern players (Monarch Money, Tiller, PocketSmith, etc.) are great for those moreso investing in stocks/crypto.

I also like to use https://www.niche.com/places-t... to provide broad overviews of neighborhoods and use shortcuts like A/B/C/D class neighborhoods so I can quickly understand and explain to clients what that means.There's also a correlation between quality of neighborhood and prices & property taxes.

If so, it would be a great time to start learning about your local market and possibly working with other senior agents to start to learn who the key players are in every geography. 

I know this is dragging up an old thread but all the players are already here. 

So how can I find a potential buyer or possibly a potential partner being that I am not a known player in this game yet?

(We'd probably put it in a short-term CD for now at ~5% as we plan to buy a new home next year).
