Though I'm not charging us a pet fee for my dog and it's unlikely I'll keep any of our security deposit on the way out... ;-)The other bright side to this is that the place will be rented as of May 1 (by us) and we'll be able to schedule the next tenants to move in ASAP after we move out (i.e., shouldn't have any issues with showings or make-ready repairs).I'll write more if/when this is official...

Doubtful that there would be any Federal agents rooting around in your attic, but if somehow your tenant's or a neighbor's pet (or child) were to ingest some and die, you could be in trouble were they to trace it back to you.

So unless this cat was just going crazy and taking all the fibers up, I'm trying to imagine how it damaged it.Finally, since you allow pets, I highly recommend you rid of carpet in your rentals anyway.
