Pet Rent
In all my leases I add a $25 per dog or cat pet-rent on top of a non-refundable pet deposit. An applicant wants me to add some verbiage indicating if his dog kicks the bucket, I will reduce the rent by $25. That was an interesting question. Noone has ever brought that up before and I have never thought of it. I mean, is there a doggy death certificate out there? Anyone ever run into this. I haven't given him an answer.....I'm leaning toward yes, but just thought I'd share.
