Their mentality was to go to court rather than just leave the property.

I really don't understand the mob mentality gang-up going on here against charging these tenants what they agreed to pay.  

Yeah, zillow says it should rent for $1,400.Still, I have this mental block that someone with a good job, would buy their own house or only be in the area for a short period.Though the property management company can find a new tenant as needed, that cost me the month the tenant left, and the month for finding a new tenant. 

Having all of my application material online helps weed out the Luddites, drug dealers, conspiracy theorists, and other "cash only" type mentalities. 

Only a CPA from Texas can mentally process a Texas property tax bill.

That is California mentality.

My brother, David, just passed away July 2, 2016 and was intellectually disabled but lived on his own in an apartment with other mentally handicapped adults across town.

Although instead of cancer, one of the tenants had a debilitating mental break. 

But from my research, you can not disqualify someone for drugs or alcohol felonies because it is considered a "mental health disorder" You can always find another reason not to rent that doesn't have anything to do with that. :)
