It will be interesting to see what you receive as feed back.For me, I find property that fits my lender(s) requirements first.

Hey guys I am new and wanted to hear feed back on your BS’ometer about response from seller who is stalling on an offer.Saturday we put a full price offer on a duplex property(unoccupied), and right before a 48hr mark of offer expiration the seller’s agent came back with this:- seller is asking for “a couple more days” to respond to the offer.

Neighbors might oppose a house changing from a 2-family to a 4-family and this opposition could completely sink your plans.All of this being said, in the Boston area, even if you are feeding your house hack several hundred dollars a month you are doing okay.

Perhaps you can find a good real estate agent to do the leg work for you or connect with some wholesalers that can feed you some possible deals.

That difference after a couple years of losses will become a cruel reality pushing them to sell and look for greener pastures.If that happens, there will be a glut of property on the market and a self feeding cycle, with the expected result of sale prices dropping.

Paying for the roof over head, feeding and clothing family, buying healthcare insurance (I like HSA plans for the investment opportunity), put gas in the non-work car, etc. all comes from somewhere. 

As an established investor, I am getting potential deals through an MLS feed, from my realtor and wholesalers buyer lists.

This seems a bit high to me but I would like to get feed back from other investors about how they got started and what they recommend.
