I have heard some people setting up their heating cooling system to shutoff if a door or window is let open for a certain amount of time.You can also add a temperature offset to make it look like it is a few degrees cooler or warmer than actual since sometimes temp setting is a mental thing.

I have never seen walls painted this thickly.The kitchen cabinets have also been painted so thick (so many times) that the doors were pinching and scraping the paint near the hinges.The entire place was done in either satin or semi-gloss kitchen/bath type paint.

I have great relationships with him, referring other clients, and he always shows me how to do it right way, and I already did multiple things by myself - making window screens, painting of 8 interior doors in 2 days, hardware for kitchen cabinets, replacing bathroom faucets etc.
