We had a squatter break into a home we had just rented but lease hadn't started yet, they let themselves in through the doggy door.

Desirable houses that I have seen are starting at 650k, but I was wondering if there are other sources to look instead of online postings. 

I am new to this forum and looking to get educated to help me figure out where I want to start.

I've been involved in the construction field for over 30 years and started my own construction company in 2008 when I also started flipping houses. 8 years ago I sold the construction company and began buying and holding long term rentals.

We are looking to start a rental investment business and we're currently doing all of the reading and learning that we can get our hands on. 

This still makes me uncomfortable because the apartment will have stuff from Tenant B inside before Tenant B's lease starts, but with Tenant A's lease going until the end of the month (and them having paid for it), I'm not sure what to do about it.
