You'll need to get basic construction supplies from the BB stores...but for furniture, cabinets, lighting, decor and all that. you can do really well with high end thrift stores.

You have your steady income taken care of with your realtor business, so you would benefit from a quick source of income (buy and refinish old furniture to sell on fb marketplace, handyman services, flipping xyz for a profit, etc.) and a long term investment source of income (rental properties, etc.).

I imagine I need a trip to see the property initially before purchasing, I need a trip (maybe even a few) to overlook any improvements, potentially time spent there to purchase furniture if I want a STR property and also time to meet and find a house cleaner (never mind a handyman or any other needs for the property).
