You'll need to get basic construction supplies from the BB stores...but for furniture, cabinets, lighting, decor and all that. you can do really well with high end thrift stores.

There is a rule that children can provide housing for parents if they can not get approved, and you get primary home terms.That being said, I am not licensed in OR.  

I break even on the mortgage which makes it challenging to pay off the furniture.

Several of those earlier customers ended up referring their adult children to me, followed by their grandchildren. 

Hello BP community, I found a house in a great neighborhood that looks to be abandoned due to the overgrown landscaping and no furniture in the house.

We've added the ladder and moved some furniture so he can easily climb up to the window height for now.

You have your steady income taken care of with your realtor business, so you would benefit from a quick source of income (buy and refinish old furniture to sell on fb marketplace, handyman services, flipping xyz for a profit, etc.) and a long term investment source of income (rental properties, etc.).

I imagine I need a trip to see the property initially before purchasing, I need a trip (maybe even a few) to overlook any improvements, potentially time spent there to purchase furniture if I want a STR property and also time to meet and find a house cleaner (never mind a handyman or any other needs for the property). 

Even not willing to move the furniture and cooperate with the vendor.

Looks like the seller doesn't want to move 1970s furniture and wants you to pay for it.On a more serious note, 2-5% and assuming average-high income...
