Nationally, the numbers should be down at least -20%, based on permits.

Either with residential or commercial, yes, there are programs that would allow you qualify based on income/debt.

I'm assuming I'll get a lower cap on that and my only way to add value is by increasing rents annually based on the provincial max amount allowed to increase rents?

The GC said it's a good candidate for an ADU and that she can put a 3 bedroom, 1 bath unit in there for $120k the has flood control, dedicated utilities, etc.

@Kevin Howard you're probably not a great candidate for a DST.  

Beyond what is right and wrong, is what is most likely to occur..my forecast is based on an initial knee jerk reaction and subject to evolve..My prediction is that buyer(s) will still want (and need) to be represented, but likely at a lower average cost. 

I know Brentwood is mostly nice but Pittsburg could be iffy based on certain neighborhoods.
