I've seen some of the generic contracts you can download online and they don't seem very trustworthy to me, so definitely consult with a lawyer.The assignment process is pretty simple, it's a clause in the contract you write.  

I'm currently working as a technology business analyst/product manager for a global financial institution with 5 years of experience.Some options and pathways that I'm looking into at the moment:1) Working in real estate brokerage/consulting (specifically within the "hotel" groups) - far from resort development but would give the foundational real estate skills2) Going back to school and getting a masters degree in real estate development - expensive, both in terms of time and money, but would set me straight and could focus on working for a resort developer right after3) Thinking of ways I can start right now entrepreneurially (redeveloping small projects and moving up) - risk, lack of funds, knowledge, but I'd be my own boss right off the bat4) Reaching out to resort developers with similar visions that might have potential opportunities - how many will pick up their phones?

Also this “consultant” will have you indemnify them 100% but they will not provide any indemnification protection for you.

You should consult with someone who is ideally an attorney and international tax expert.

If it is just a property that's on Zillow, that shows its in pre-foreclosure, I would not contact them or, contact them at your peril.Many of the state rules prohibiting "foreclosure consultants" are for protection from people like you.

GF & I bought a home that we rented while we were away on a 4 year consulting JOB.

She’s paid hourly and wants to learn real estate and she has the perfect balance of knowing when to make insignificant decisions herself and when to consult me.

At this time, i reached out to a lawyer to see what they can do for me, almost all of them are ofcourse charging a fee for a consultation.
