Hello, all,i'm currently learning about short term rental investment and i need to be around like-minded individuals who have done deals already or are also starting out so I can build a network and take action.

@Mellissa RuizA property without a Tenant can end up costs which is why it's urgent to take action as soon as this becomes a problem.

My original advice was to treat them like a normal tennant if you can and not to give too much slack or expect exceptionally quick action just because they were military.

Since you can, I'd talk to the selling Realtor before deciding on a plan of action.

I do not want to imply that you do not want to take action but making a mistake buying the wrong piece of property can sometimes take a long time to overcome.

Well the way involved was just trying to take some action and see if i could get a good discount on a short sale and maybe flip to another investor if the numbers were right......Thanks for the advice i also think the realtor was trying to use me as the middle man to prolong the foreclosure too!!!
