I've been living in WA State for a year and have been learning my local market (I live about 45 min northwest of Tacoma on the Kitsap peninsula) while saving to buy my first property.The high home prices and high interest rates are making it challenging to find good deals.

There are also markets in Indiana that are doing well from an investment standpoint.I live in Florida, and am bullish on the state, but with insurance uncertainty, prices still too high in most cities, I like the markets you asked about more.

I live in columbus and miami about half the year both. economic activity in miami is like 20x what columbus is. net migrations by number of people are waaaaaayyyy more in miami. columbus has 10 out of the 14 growing counties in ohio. it's not just one county or city, it's the entire MSA. cool chart but definitely would never put Detroit in the same category as either.

The house is in Northern California and we live in Pennsylvania.
