I am heavily considering taking a commission based roofing contractor (sales) job and putting my two weeks in at my current job while starting my classes to get a real estate license but am unsure if that is a smart or poor move, my dad does not think sales is a good idea, but why not if I’m this driven?

The Agency’s investigations are complaint driven, so we rely heavily on the public, and our licensees to bring these individuals to our attention.

Sounds low, especially given the pictures where exterior walls and roofing is either missing or heavily damaged.  

I spent my whole career as an Accountant in Real Estate and there are plenty of things I know that the CPA doMost CPAs are focused heavily on Tax stuff.

In the grand scheme of things the insurance & liability aspects should be minor factors; millions of people have pools, including rentals - that's what insurance is for (you are heavily covered, right?). 

Apparently, they are a crapshoot in many areas and buyers are relying too heavily on it when making an offer.

I would not invest heavily yet in a system as you may find it doesn’t fit your needs or style.

If a turnkey property, I assume out of area, I would make sure to heavily vet the PM as well as their contractors as you will need them at some point.

This guy is new to me but comes heavily referenced from guys I trust.

Most just accept and do not question the papers and of course banks slant it heavily in their favor.
