Accountant

Hello everyone, I'm still new and fresh to Bigger Pockets. My accountant is not familiar with some of the real estate investing funding and strategies that I have come across. I'm curious to know how important is it that I find an accountant that can help me crunch numbers and get the most bang for my buck when it comes to deals and tax season. I'm in the metro Detroit Michigan area. Thanks in advance

@Jason A. Smith

I'm still just a beginner but after listening to podcast 162 (Link) I realized it's pretty important to have a CPA well versed in real estate strategies.

I actually called and signed on to do my tax work with @Amanda Han after listening to the podcast.

All the best
