I am a contractor, work for several assisted living home owners and they are always broke.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I want to leave my 9 to 5 JOB(just over broke) as quickly as possible.

Usually it is not this bad and flights are cheap and my property is by family so I can visit them (so not looking for “you should have bought locally arguments here” - I live in the bay and am too broke for that!)

well it seems from the comments that I have might not been clear about the situation. it's not that you have a few retired settled people just airing out quietly and having a calm chat. were talking abt young boys and girls in the front steps sitting there all day, makes a very very bad impression. 

I went upstairs and broke it up.

Then when he calls and says “I need a new door mine is broke and gone” you say “who are you I have no tenant there”.

"If it aint broke, dont fix it"

Cool.The tables turned recently when our most successful friend broke the news that they would be leaving the state and want US to take over their current portfolio of business (size is quite significant) for a 50/50 split.

Just keep posting on facebook that you're the real estate girl and they'll come around when they're ready because you're the first one in their minds when they think real estate!
