Hey Madina, 👋🏽@John Warren asked some really great questions that I think should help you get a better idea of where to purchase a property. $350k - $450k is a good price point to get you a property but depending on the area, you might need to do some remodeling, unless you want to look on the south side, where you can find a pretty turnkey property for those price points. 

With housing prices skyrocketing, the increasing cost of raw components and lumber, and labor shortages, the idea of owning a piece of income property is just not in the cards anymore for many individuals.

I have analyses paralysis and have no idea what to do. 

I currently lean toward upstate NY and MI (Detroit metro) as I live in the west but have family in Canada not far from those locations and the idea of being able to visit family with trips that can double as business write-offs is appealing.

You miss out on any appreciation and tax benefits, and a lot depends on the quality of who you rent from, but I don't know of any way to more cheaply enter into a new market and learn it.Sounds like a great idea but, by the time you’ve learned, the market could have changed, especially the supply and demand equilibrium. 

Im trying to save more money, and pay down credit cards, Does anyone have any Ideas on how to obtain financing and where to start with building process should i obtain financing!
