I asked my Allstate agent to have a landlord insurance and the policy holder to be the LLC but he said the policy holder has to be a person we can't put an entity as a policy holder.

The only way to pull the cash out of the 401k is to take a distribution, which of course would be taxable event, plus penalties if the distributions is taken prior to normal retirement age.

Hey the old insurance agent in me would advise you to have him get a renters policy with say about 1 million in liability protection, have him list you or your company as an additional insured on the policy.
