The FHA-insured 203(k) loan is provided through approved lenders nationwide and is available to owners who will occupy the home themselves.There is a lot of extra paperwork and coordinating with the lender and contractor.I have found contractors and lenders who hopefully have enough experience to get through the process smoothly.I'm now looking for an RE agent in Tampa who has done a few.
