Unless you are a Managing Broker (not sure what the title is in your state) having your own office and conducting RE sales in your name or your company's name, all of your licensed activities are done through your Managing Broker's name/company.Note, the commission check is written in the name of the Managing Broker, not your name.  

I get a kick out of our modern terminology.

I came across an opportunity to purchase a property that I am leasing for office space. 

I believe that may come in the form of commercial office space.

While those are important for the modern look a finished house is a far better situation.

Over the last couple of years, I have done some investing in multi-family projects as well as office and retail (not as the operator). 

Example: If an employee moves to work at their company's corporate office and they ask about housing, they would have a list of my properties that are available for them to rent, even if it is temporary.

Sometimes you would find a buyer previewing that had not gone by the sales office at the development or was represented by anyone and could pick up a buyer that way.
