Commission splits with broker on personally owned assets
I am an agent who flips homes that I personally buy with my own money. When I buy a home Should I accept the 3% buyer agent side of commission and split it with my broker or take no commission and ask seller for 3% reduction in purchase price? Secondly, when I sell my investment home after remodeling, is it fair to take no commission which means my broker gets nothing on list side of commission? (Note: I would still offer 3% to buyer agent who brings the deal.) What's normal and fair for agent flippers?
