welcome. my advice is find a rehabber that has experience or you could partner with for a few deals until you gain more experience while keeping you out of major trouble. here is an old post that may be of interest to youhttp://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/48/topics/72801Keep this in mind. you are rehabbing it to make money not for your taste or style which is probably why you and most people go over budget.

Additionally I have seen some colleagues years ago (before I started helping others) lose a lot of money by making some counter-intuitive mistakes and then have a very bad taste in their mouths concerning mobile homes. 

Do some more research then when your comfortable try your hand at it again.What happened with your SFH and duplex that left a bad taste in your mouth?

On other forums its been my impression that its bad taste to start new conversations if a similar conversation has been started but on this forum I find it difficult to find a relevant conversation to join.

Wouldn't bother with the drapes since it is almost entirely based on individual taste - some like blinds, some like natural fiber drapes etc.

Also, if you are doing any uprades make sure they are not taste specific and neurtal colors.

I find that to be troubling.In addition, he charges people to submit deals for him to review which leaves a REALLY bad taste in my mouth.
