Earlier this year I looked at a historic carriage house that was a MONSTER rehab (+/-500k), where it would have cost more to rehab it then to tear down and build a 4000sq-ft house but it was deemed historic.

i have been doing this for about five months now recieving phonecalls from mymailing list. many people say to just let them talk and listen to what they have to say or find the solution to their problem.some of the poeple i talk to though are just very silent and do not talk much at all, and i feel like a robot when i am asking them questions. any suggestions on how im supposed to go about this?

I saw this builder, along with many others, get in the trap of buiding one after another and becoming so big that they had to keep feeding the monster buy buying more land and building more and more houses.

Account Closed, Not sure what West U you are talking about, but the vast majority of the West University Place most Houstonians know has long ago been torn down and rebuilt with monster homes on tiny lots.
