@John Kingry Your situation may be resolved by purchasing an additional insured endorsement to your owners policy... not sure where the property is located but around here this would be an ALTA 15.1 / 15.1-06 endorsement.

Am not endorsing it since I believe in co-op deals, but that's the reality of most brokers.However, there are loyalty issues since the list agent is paid by the seller, so if you don't hire a broker MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS OF BUYING PROPERTY.
