Buyer, found new listing. Call buyer agent now? or keep quiet?
I'm reviewing the numbers on a new rental property listing 1 day ago, I was first to call, first to visit this a.m.
I want to call a very informed local buyer's agent to represent me, but I'm not ready to make an offer. It's a tiny town of less than 6 thousand people, but 30 or more realtors (vacation market), so it may buy me a day or two to keep quiet.
I'm concerned she will have a list of people waiting and may direct another buyer who's been waiting and is more prepared/prequalified, etc.
But she can also guide me best on the property, it's valuation (I think it's high), etc. So I want to contact her. I also don't want to call her and be waffling, seems I should present myself as "I want to buy it, what do you think?".
If I'm not ready, and she has another buyer who is, she can obviously suggest it to them? She has no obligation to protect my interests I would think?
Thanks!
