Hopefully Thumbtack continues as a viable competitor to Angies list and others.

Are we educating our competitors too much, and thus creating less opportunities for our own investing?

I contacted several local banks and some Lima One competitors (B2R, etc.).

I try to focus on making the unit more attractive than its competitors so that people will really want it.

But, from their perspective, helping you is just creating a competitor who may steal deals from them in the future.

I personally want to try to calculate what they will walk away with so I can give my best offer up front (so I can waive my inspection contingency) and beat my competitors who just want it under contract so they can go nuts on the inspection. 

I love those Harbor Freight coupons and use them at Lowes, per their "accept competitor coupon" policy ...

It just upsets me how there would be people like this out there who try to wipe out "competitors" instead of calling me and asking me to partner up since I DID have a couple leads and would be a rational thing to do but i dont care cause im very passionate in the rewards that Real Estate can bring me or in my future but i know theres another way.

You have to keep the business fresh and make it pop or sales start sliding from the dated look as competitors open up shop.

Titos blows away name brand competitors that cost twice as much.
