A regular attendee of the meetup I run has multiple properties near Tampa that he rents out and he's never even set foot at the property.Lots of ways to skin a cat, though I am partial to local / regional investing and think it is much less risky even given the inflated Boston prices.

Legacy has attendees fill out a questionnaire about their goals and aspirations in real estate investing.... however, on that same sheet are 3 specific questions on your household income, investment holding you may have and assets in your name.

Because most of us have W-2 daytime jobs, attendees can join via Audio only as well as Web or Video in order to see the content being shared.

To each his or her own.There is a main meeting in Ambler that attracts hundreds of attendees; there are subgroups that meet throughout the Delaware Valley area where attendance numbers from ten to fifty, so perhaps that suits you better.As to "pay to play", yes there is a membership fee - some consider it to be worth the nominal expense, others don't.

When there are that many newer investors there, just like when Las Vegas strippers owned a dozen rentals before the crash, it might be the time to consider peak note if that many attendees are looking for 2nd liens, just my 2 cents...
