A more productive way I have found through trial and error with the 2 other businesses I run, is via newspaper ads (electronic or paper), and facebook ads.  

It means that the "writ of execution" to sell the property at sheriff sale has been "stayed" - basically, this is a postponement of the sale, but with the added requirement that the next time that the lender wants to proceed with the foreclosure sheriff sale, then they must re-publish in the newspaper and re-post the property; with a postponement, this is just a continuation of the already published sale to a specific date, no re-advertising needed.

I know here in New Orleans we can go online and get crime stats from the local newspaper.

Newspaper ads will list auctions.

Notice of default (foreclosure).. constantly stay in their ear , from start to finish.6. discharged/dismissed bankruptcy cases (get from pacer)7.Tax lien sale- published in legal news papers when auctions come up8.

There are a ton of means to do this, from Craigslist, newspaper, Facebook, etc. 

I actually get the newspaper and check every week!

I should have been following events on campus using the student newspaper (they have an online version I could have gotten access to). 

Gosh... in most states the executor of an estate must be announced publicly, usually in a leading newspaper or business publication.
