Hi BPWhat are the general best practices with renting out a current home as we transition into our next? 

I transitioned two traditional long term SFH rentals last year.  

I've begun building my portfolio in Ohio (born and raised), currently I am only involved in SFHs and duplexes but plan on transitioning into larger multifamily (12-24 units) in 2022.

You can learn a lot in residential sales, make a lot of money and transition to commercial whenever you want.

Do I have to have the property for a certain amount of time to transition out of my name, and into an LLC, are there any penalties ?   

Losing 25% doesn't sound good to me.We finally started updating our 1961 home after transitioning into the capital preservation stage of our journey.

There are also marble transitions already that I need to work around.I’m not sure what the types of products I’m looking for are called specifically.

It also taught me that larger deals allow for more outsourcing, hence my transition to the syndication space.

I am a realtor, so I am slightly biased I will admit but I bought my first property with a Realtor and transitioned into becoming an agent later. 2) Find a lender, especially one that is well versed in VA loans AND has done multifamily deals with those loans.

Can you transition a personal loan into an LLC loan?
