Robert, The story here is a little confusing and missing some background details.  

I used Dwolla with technical problems on both my end and my tenants side and I have tried sparkrent and have had tenants struggle with use and say that it is not user friendly. 

My background is also in remodeling.  

So, I was listening to the BP podcast and the subject of how to do background checks on your renters came up.

But, this is a major decision and I can see how some technical analysis or insight would provide some comfort in your decision.

We have very similar backgrounds!

We are also working to complete our background check integration and improvements to our online application feature so hopefully all of these updates should be available in early August, but we don't have a set release date yet.  

The investor is technically in the drivers seat. 

I am new to real estate but I currently have a large amount of free time so I am applying it to reading, listening, and watching everything I can on real estate with the goal of applying my education and background to the field!
