STRONG argument for that.... even if you have several hundred properties.

That's a lot of crap to juggle if you're only saving a few hundred bucks.

We’ve bought and sold hundreds of homes and multi’s over the last 10 years I’ve been in real estate. 

Painted all the inside of the units (walls, trims, cabinets, doors, etc) and the exterior of the house (front door and entrance, trims, etc).

I did a lot of work to the house, added new flooring, new kitchen cabinets, landscape work, painted the house, and other small cosmetic repairs throughout the house.

(All three are still operational but I no longer own).And my first purchase on my own was a single-family home VA financing in the 15 hundred block of Liberty St.  

It might be a couple of hundred dollars well spent. 

It’s easier to do if you can save cabinets and re-paint them, save vanities the same way, etc.

If it's a major storm and destroys hundreds or thousands of homes, then it could have an impact on that particular market.
