But with the disappearance of smaller community banks, as they are rapidly acquired by larger institutions, many industry experts are concerned that credit in local economies will disappear.

@Zachary Chamberlain I’m not an expert but If you are planning to hold long term and not flip I would generally shoot for a property that rents for at least 1% of the purchase price.

Also, not being a tax expert, it might be better for you to have the price of the home lowered (so now you are seeing less of a gain).Just thinking out loud.Bob

A lot of forum members are experts in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, buy and hold investing, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.

I'm no expert either, but three vents just sounds really inadequate.

I am not a CPA or tax expert, so definitely keep that in mind! 

From what I understand researching our local codes (not an expert) because we are zoned as a two unit property we can add an oven.Both rooms in the basement meet egress code.
