(similar to large apartment complex model).I own 75 units, 50 of them in same subdivision (own most of 2 streets).

Current word on the street is major plant closings are scheduled up-n-down the Hudson Valley. 

If the development is on the same street as a homeowner and that home owner enjoys some quietness and privacy with things being as is.

But I thought to write the positive first.Side note: I met my partner because I heard a friend and neighbor of mine mention offhand once that he might be interested in buying a property up the street that had been for sale.

@Jim Goebel,I was in your shoes 6 months ago... flabbergasted that a neighbor wasn't friendly, was very aggressive with us, and not  excited at the fact we were renovating an ugly house and clearly making the street better!  

I had power lines across the street, not even on property line and it turned off buyers.

The water company came to inspect the situation and found that the part of the line that is frozen is between the street and the main water meter underground. 

Tap into partners or syndicators who constantly grow their network of brokers, general contractors and property managers to get and stay in the know on what the street is saying.

I let them know that my tenant at XYZ Main Street will be contacting them.

Tenants will be tougher to keep happy (too many good places to rent for less down the street).
