Being a good sales person in this business means being comfortable memorizing scripts, talking to people on the phone (or in person) for hours upon hours upon hours each and every day, having a good follow up system (follow up is BY FAR the most important skill that will help you be successful. 99% of my deals come AFTER 8-12 points of contact, and some have taken over a year of constant follow up before they become a deal for me), and the most important skill is to be honest 1,000% of the time (even if it means telling someone that you don't know the answer to something, and calling them back later once you know) - your integrity and reputation are the ONLY THING you have in this business, and it takes a VERY LONG time to develop.... yet you can lose it all in a minute if you aren't careful and take shortcuts in your business. If you decide to take me up on my offer, and decide to begin this journey, then I can guarantee that you will (probably) have about 300-500 phone calls with people BEFORE you will ever even get a deal under contract.
