I’m working on a 300 unit multi-family project which is new construction.

Hello,So I was wondering, I noticed that there are a lot of mulit families built in the 1880s - 1920s and I have not seen any new constructions for a multi family property in Rhode Island.

I have multis in all of the cities that you mentioned and manage a number of others in those areas as well.  

This is my first time purchasing a multi-family home.

I own a rental property, and have room to add a triplex behind, i do have the funds to do it , I also own another rental and its paid off and a good equaty on my own house should i buy multy family units or build. the triplex and than move on to the next one. the only issue is hard to get loans because im not working.please any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have a degree in Occupational Therapy so I'm going to that for a bit along with real estate investing.

My market has many single family and a few multi family properties.

I learned that in order to use the VA home loan for a multi-unit property you need to have 6 months of mortgage reserves in the bank. 

Look at the advertisements. 

We don't own anything yet, but looking into a multi-family in the suburbs of Buffalo ( Williamsville / Amherst/ Tonawanda ) to begin our journey.
