Should I pay for fixing the foundation?

This is my first time purchasing a multi-family home. I made an offer 20k below listing price. After inspection it turned out that many places need to repair: roof, electric panels, foundation... After negotiations the seller agreed to fix the roof before closing, but insisted that I should pay for the foundation. Tomorrow I will have an structural engineer go to that house and give me a quote for the foundation. I will recalculate the number to see if it makes sense. But the question I would like to ask here: should I insist that they should fix the foundation for me? Is it normal that I need to do so many repairs?
