I know Duke Energy has maintenance shutdowns where the corporation rents housing on a monthly basis each year.  

My contracting company will continue on but I am going to start focusing my energy on rehabs.  

Depending on the amount at issue, it may not be worth your time and energy.  

I have taken business management classes as well as mold remediation classes and energy star rater training.

Some friends would like to set up cameras for properties after they turn off the electricity to the property, and I'm looking into some ultra cheap solutions to do that. 

My husband has many many teams of door knockers selling Energy in multiple states, so I know it works and I know it can be done with tremendous success.What I do not know is, what would be the best compensation.  

Mainly because I want to focus my energy and resources on wholesaling.

@Perry IvyWe have a few converted older properties (Second Empire / Victorian) in which panels were placed in kitchens, hallways and living rooms at the time the building was converted (or when the electrical was updated).One of the things we do in these cases is install a chalkboard/whiteboard/corkboard over them - a plywood box 1 - 2" deep with a  piano hinged door (which is the chalkboard/whiteboard/corkboard).You can purchase both magnetic primer and chalkboard or whiteboard paint ... a little pricy, but a little goes a long way.  

Usually has central heat the owner pays,,and sometimes same thing with electricity. 

Also He says its a legal 2 family house but it only has 1 electric meter,  and 1 boiler.
