That's possible (and the model I do) but does take a little to establish unless you're going into it with contacts from people you know.

You have to break it down to them respectfully but plainly speaking.

Obtaining an FHA loan should not be the first question, educating yourself, establishing a market plan, developing a niche, and networking should be your focusing points.

I don't think the garbage truck guys (I always see guys, have never seen any women) get much respect/appreciation.

@Eli Hood , with all due respect, the mental barriers occur when people are not prepared for the challenges ahead.

What I would bet dollars to doughnuts on is that with respect to charging fees and usury issues and lending requirements, I'd say half the private deals made by those who "really do" lending on the side so to speak would not be compliant.

Once I can establish myself as an agent then I would start to find potential buyers/investors to work with...
