You can earn a good income, learn how to be a better manager, network with investors, and maybe even have your license to buy/sell.

Consult with local agents to learn about market trends, specific neighborhoods, and recent sale prices of comparable houses.

Staying with quest trust for now and looking at maybe IRA financial or uDirect in the future.Trying to balance keeping the cost low, having that checkbook control, and still having a team to help educate me.I am not turning enough over at this moment to warrant a change...and I am still figuring out how to partner with my LLC if at possible.

That way i see it unfold in real time, I understand the necessary systems to have in place, the right players to have in my team, etc.

Does anyone have experience using a side of their duplex as a STR & if so, what did you learn? 

I've learned that the best way to do it is to start off with a purchase that you yourself will live in.

If they are intending to buy another property, they may NOT be able to consider seller financing.If they are in a position to consider seller financing, you have to mention the benefits to them specifically and that varies from person to person.It is a learned process.

Allowing us to go through the process of buying and selling real estate in its entirety which has showed me the ropes of real estate and eager to learn more investment strategies.
