I will be looking to sell within a month or two but slightly open to renting (1,100 monthly, the mortgage is  620) the home out due to me relocating across the country.

- Not insure it and cross your fingers the good house doesn't burn down and no one wanders on the property and gets hurt?

I would be willing to cross collateralize my properties, the hurdle that I have been running into is only having an ITIN and not a SSN.

If you do go down this road I would also recommend a list source but if your going to county records just fill out a PDF OPRA and send via email with your county clerk. about 80% of the country are now responding digitally.

You can use the VA Renovation loan to purchase a primary residence that you intend to occupy. then you can sell it down the road if you so desire, but you must intend to occupy the property as your primary residence, and you get close to crossing the mortgage fraud line if you buy the home with the sole intention of flipping it.You can't really do a live in flip with the VA loan where you do your own work either, because the VA loan (non-renovation) won't let you buy a trashed house, and the VA renovation loan requires you to use a contractor on the Dept. of Veteran Affairs registry.Hope this helps, I have two articles on BiggerPockets that should shed some more light on the VA loan if you would like to read more!

I've looked at a few sites that sell them but want to know the things I should watch out for and mainly what area of the country is best (just opinions that I know will differ but love to hear them)  I am looking for something that already has good reviews and a staff in place.
