I'd probably do independent living, and if someone needs medical assistance they can have home health aids come by.  

Doing some independent research on Philly's housing market and want to hear long-time philly pros' opinion on the market and more importantly the below stat: Philly's inventory has been declining ever since Sept - 2015 and it has not picked back up yet:https://www.zillow.com/research/local-market-repor...Very hot market in general in Brewery town, Point Breeze and etc.

At the moment, my plan is to get started in buy and hold rental property investing, most likely in single family or small multi-family homes, in order to generate some additional cash flow, start building more long term wealth, and work towards financial independence.

Boutique colleges (UOM, MSU, etc) will give you a strong resume which is useless if you have independence in mind.

Also, I plan on being financially independent before I turn 40.

(Not for long though)Another area would be to allow me to transition into independent work comfortably.

I was going to have the Electric, Plumbing and Drains, Heating System, and Roof all inspected by independent contractors in their fields. 

I would suggest talking to local, independent banks and building a relationship.
