Financial independence is different for everyone. Some people want the bare minimum to live their life; others want enough cash flow to continue building wealth the rest of their life or for other pursuits.

Does your $2,200 include setting aside money for repairs, management, vacancy, etc?

I'm personally aiming for $20,000 a month. I only need $5,000 a month to maintain my lifestyle but I want $5,000 more for additional wealth-building opportunities or as a buffer and I want at least $10,000 a month for charity.
