Besides legalities, is cost and ROI the driving factor in the majority, if not all of your repair and upgrade decisions?

I just recently have been using a list of pre-foreclosures/ foreclosures cold calling and driving for dollars. 

I understand that there is a "green tax" since its not common practice but I want to try and make the shift on one or two homes to see if it can be sustained on small scale projects.

Your ex could park in front of your house every single day just to annoy you if they wanted to, and it's not illegal.As far as not moving it "far" enough, your tenant can drive it, then park it back in the same place, the same as anyone else (you do that all the time, btw, when you run to the grocery store and park back in front of your house, leave for work and park back in front of your house, etc).

I've had luck going directly to sellers through driving for dollars and searching online property tax records.

So, I'm doing my first drive for dollars.
