I was doing STR in both Boston and Cape Cod and Boston/Cambridge did their best to kill Airbnb, The Cape tries to embrace them, though some backlash from Boston created state requirements to them.

I lived in Ohio, philadelphia, New Jersey outside New York City, Boston, and finally moved to SF Bay Area in 2003.SF Bay Area is the most profitable location for real estate investment, compared to all the other cities.All my RE holdings are in Bay Area, and I will continue to invest here.
