He teaches creative finance and there are definitely ways to do it but kind of just depends on what you want to do.

Also - I'm sure getting a license does NOT teach me everything or close.

Either one will teach you what you need to know about hacking into your first investment, then your second.

Instead of instilling fear in your son over such a low risk, buy him a step ladder and teach him the importance of calculated risk, "caveat emptor", and the responsibility to honor contracts. 

Few high schools even teach shop anymore.
