Many newbies hope to find (partner up) with a mentor.

Join a real estate club in your area and or a Real Estate Meet Up Group  and you will have many people to network with and mentor you through your first Buy.  

This would be my first listing, so I'd like to enlist the help of a fellow, more experienced agent at my brokerage who's been kind of a mentor to me, to walk me through a smooth selling/closing process.I'd like to offer her part of my commission in return for her help; what would be an acceptable percentage in a case like this?

im just getting started in RE and am looking for a mentor and great quality up to date market conditions and the most up to date information/education on real time investing.  

My current goal is to find a successful local mentor and to learn enough to do my first rental deal before the end of this year.
