I've been deliberating over the same issue (long-term rentals vs. medium-term rentals) and am inclined to invest the extra effort to manage a medium-term rental, given the appealing additional cash flow it promises.

That means from this point forward, it would take you 26 years for the accumulated CF to equal your current equity.If you sold the property, even after closing costs, you would walk away with at least 150+ in cash. 

I think I am gathering here from the responses that we are safe to say as a GP we own the property as are the other sponsor, but for additional clarity, disclosing shares in some cases may help bolster tacit understanding of who does how much of what.

In addition, how much time do I have to find an escrow company before closing?

Unless you enjoy spending your time evicting tenants, repairing your property and losing money,don’t walk away.

@Kathy Kifer - I would add additional platforms: Airbnb and Zillow to get more traffic on your medium-term rental.
