Planning to buy preventive pest control service.

Aside from tenants reporting this and maybe using a reputable lawn care provider with reviews I wonder how this type of issue can be prevented.

I suspect my city has mandated this to prevent bad actors from taking advantage of people. 

If you have a constant problem you might consider using some predator urine treatments to prevent it. 

Ben, check out BP podcast 392 with Todd Baldwin, he's doing this in Seattle and talked about some of the problems he ran into and how he's able to prevent them now, such as hiring a cleaner once a month, providing essentials, etc.

Job advertisements are usually placed by people that are already in a pickle and they need someone experienced to prevent them from falling behind.

The downside is that you can't change the complex software to suit your needs and the software will prevent you from changing it to another.

I am sure you could fill this with caulk, but this might also prevent the desired movement of the siding that is supposed to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. 

It is not the job of an agent to "prevent" your client from making, what you think, is a bad deal.
