I’m a new real estate investor also new to the Portland area!

On some occasions, I just take a simple contract to a local escrow office and do it myself.Basically, everything in real estate is negotiable.

You're in a great place for investing, though I think you should try contacting local real estate agents or even look specifically for auctions/foreclosures.

Market is tough now, but we want to get into real estate investing.
