(Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) I spent a little over 8 years active duty and was involved in Desert Shield, Storm, and Peace from August 1990-March 1991.When I returned to civilian life in 1995, I moved back home to Lower Burrell, PA.

Thinking about the type of life I want financially and the freedom that comes with it usually helps me get past my fears (:Besides that I am sure you can find local wholesalers to work with at your local REI groups.

Also, like the others say, make sure he is planning on staying there during the life of the loan. 

If they seem lifeless and boring, put some life into them.  

It makes for a rich life.  

If you cosign, you do it for the life of the loan.

Life is good.

On top of self development in REI, you should also devote time on motivation and successful habits.Notable people and workings are: Earl Nightingale (20 minutes that can change your life), Les Brown (know your purpose), Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich), Grant Cardone (10X), Eric Thomas (know your why), CT Fletcher (obsessed), Zig Ziglar, and on and on and on.

I also have been doing construction my whole life and am currently a PM for a large GC in Boston so it sounds like we have a lot in common.  

I am a bit shy but I'm breaking out of that now (several changes in my life have allowed me to do this).
